Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a metal-containing binary catalyst for dewaxing which is capable of effectively isomerizing a hydrocarbon having greater carbon atoms of wax, etc.
SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing the metal/Al-MCM-41 binary catalyst includes a process step of acquiring an aqueous alkaline metal silicate solution by reacting silica with an aqueous alkaline metal solution, a process step of acquiring an MCM-41 carrier by drippily adding the aqueous alkaline metal silicate solution to a casting mold material and hydrothermally synthesizing the same, a process step of acquiring the Al-MCM-41 by mixing the MCM-41 carrier and an Al precursor dissolved in an organic solvent and firing the formed precipitate and a process step of immersing the Al-MCM-41 into a group VIII metal precursor solution to introduce the metal therein, then firing the same.
