Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a metal nanoparticle allowing for producing a metal nanoparticle having a desired particle size and crystallinity easily and at low cost.SOLUTION: A method for producing a metal nanoparticle in the present invention is a method for producing a metal nanoparticle consisting of a metal element and a non-metal element, and has a step of generating a pulse arc discharge in a state that an atmosphere gas containing a non-metal element is introduced between two electrodes 102A, 102B containing a metal element. In the pulse arc discharge, an arc-current value is given 100A or higher and an arc-discharge generation time is given 1 μs or shorter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
