To provide a method for preparing a liquid mixture, in which liquefied carbon dioxide can be mixed homogeneously with another liquid without making such a mistake when liquefied carbon dioxide is packed that another liquid in a pressure vessel flows backward and contaminates a charging line of a liquefied carbon dioxide charge unit when the liquid mixture of liquefied carbon dioxide with another liquid is prepared in the pressure vessel.
Before the pressure vessel 1 is charged with liquefied carbon dioxide, the pressure vessel 1 is evacuated by a vacuum pump 2 and then liquefied carbon dioxide is packed in the evacuated pressure vessel from a low-temperature liquefied carbon dioxide storage tank 4. After that, another liquid is packed and the packed liquid is agitated with the packed liquefied carbon dioxide. The agitation work in the pressure vessel 1 is performed for one minute or more after the pressure vessel is kept in a supercritical state of carbon dioxide. The evacuation work is preferably done to the extent that the pressure in the pressure vessel becomes the degree of vacuum lower than 10
