Title:
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING NEW MATERIAL METAL INSERTED WITH NANOSTRUCTURE CARBON MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2013057117
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To solve the following problem: a manufacturing method in which as a means in which a carbon nanotube or the like is manufactured to be mixed with a metal stock, a phenolic binder is put in to be adhere to a metal, is kneaded and is heated up to be evaporated by MIM method or HIP is performed as a conventional manufacturing method; or a completed CNT is dissolved in a special surfactant, is mixed with a metal powder, and is heated with a container filled with hydrogen.

An organic carbon liquid is made to directly interpose in metal, ceramics, rare earth or the like to be mixed with a micro, nano, or pico structure carbon material to form a carbon film by a metal catalyst method, arc method, and CVD method, and a carbon insertion functionality metal is manufactured by an MIM or HIP method. Because the phenolic binder or a special surfactant is unnecessary, few processes can be achieved and cost becomes greatly inexpensive.
