Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an unwoven fabric high in productivity and containing PPS fibers.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of an unwoven fabric containing polyphenylene sulfide fibers, which includes preparing a slurry containing polyphenylene sulfide fibers and glass fibers with fiber diameter of 5 μm or less of 10-55 mass% in total fiber amount and manufacturing a base paper by using the slurry with a wet type paper making method and conducting a heat calender treatment on the base paper.SELECTED DRAWING: None
