Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an optical element capable of improving a yield.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an optical element 1 is provided, in which a plurality of transparent base materials 25 having a reflection plane 4 parallel to the thickness direction is arranged via an adhesive 3 in a direction perpendicular to the reflection plane 4. The method includes: a layer stacking and fixation step of stacking a plurality of transparent substrates 21 each having a reflection plane 4 formed on one surface thereof, with an adhesive 3 to form a fixed block 12; a heat treatment step of leaving the fixed block 12 to stand for a predetermined time at a temperature equal to or higher than the glass transition temperature Tg of the adhesive 3; and a cutting step of cutting the fixed block 12 in a direction perpendicular to the reflection plane 4 in a predetermined period to divide the substrates 21 so as to form a planar raw material 1' in which the base materials 25 are arranged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
