Abstract:
To prevent an UV-ray curable resin for coatings from dropping down before sending core wires, which are twisted and coated with the curable resin by an UV resin coater in a manufacturing process of horizontal optical fiber units.
In the manufacturing method of horizontal optical fiber units, several optical fiber core wires are twisted around the central anti-tensile wire 2, sent to a core wire gathering part 8, coated with an integration material of UV-ray curing resins 10 by an UV resin coater, and irradiated with a spot UV lamp 12 before sending the core wires to an UV-ray irradiation apparatus 14 and irradiating with an UV ray for curing the integration material.
