To provide a method for manufacturing a large number of original cylindrical printing plates for laser engraving with high thickness precision.
This method of manufacturing the original cylindrical printing plate for laser engraving includes (1) the process to form an adhesive layer or a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on the surface of a cylindrical support (a), (2) the process to wind a sheet-like resin around the cylindrical support (a), (3) the process to fit a heat-shrinkable tube to the outside of the sheet-like resin wound in cylindrical fashion, (4) the process to shrink the heat-shrinkable tube by heating, (5) the process to cure the adhesive layer or the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, and (6) the process to remove the shrunk tube.
