Abstract:
To provide a method of manufacturing an ornament which has diversified hues, brilliance and complicated patterns and of which the color and the brightness are variously changed.
In the method of manufacturing the ornament having a light interferential surface layer having beautiful hues and formed by vapor-depositing a thin film 3 on the glazed surface of a base body 1 on which glazing 2 is applied and treating the resultant body at a high temperature to make the glazing 2 semi-flowable, the thin film 3 is formed by stacking a plurality of unit layers 4 and 5 while making the stacking speed of at least two layers different.
