To provide a photocatalyst having water repellency on the outermost surface, having a high antifoulancy when the outermost surface is irradiated with ultraviolet light and to provide a method for producing the sheet.
The photocatalyst sheet 1 is obtained by applying a fluororesin layer to a base 2 and coating at least the outermost layer with a fluororesin layer 5 containing a photocatalyst. The photocatalyst 1 exhibits water repellency when the surface of the fluororesin resin layer containing a photocatalyst is irradiated with ultraviolet light. A first fluororesin layer 3 and a second fluororesin layer may be contained between the base and the outermost fluororesin layer 5. The photocatalyst 1 has water repellency and can impart high antifoulancy without inhibiting a heat bonding property of a conventional sheet and can be used for a long period of time without impairing colored aesthetic sense applied to the sheet. A photocatalyst having large area for building having a film structure can be produced at a low cost.
