To provide a method for manufacturing a pneumatic tire, the method that can reduce a conductive rubber included in a tread rubber while exerting energization performance, and to provide the pneumatic tire.
In a tread rubber 10 molding step, a first conductive part 13a that extends in the tread rubber in the tire width direction to reach the tread end and a second conductive part 13b of which one end is exposed to the supporting surface and the other end is contacted with the first conductive part 13a by spirally wrapping the rubber ribbon 20 comprising non-conductive rubber and providing the conductive rubber 22 on a portion of cross section of the rubber ribbon 20 in the tread rubber. When forming the first conductive part 13a, the onductive rubber 22 of the rubber ribbon 20 that adjoins the tire width direction while locally providing conductive rubber 22 on the tire surroundings is contacted mutually.
