To provide a method for manufacturing a polymer member that facilitates securing adhesion between a non-hydrous layer and a hydrous layer without requiring complicated steps, and also to provide the polymer member obtained by the method thereof.
The method for manufacturing the polymer member (3) includes: a step A of laminating a non-hydrous material layer (1) which absorbs a water-soluble monomer and a polymerizable composition layer (2) which is formed of a polymerizable composition containing the water-soluble monomer; a step B of making the non-hydrous material layer (1) absorb part of the water-soluble monomer in the polymerizable composition layer (2); and a step C of polymerizing water-soluble monomer in the polymerizable composition layer (2) and the water-soluble monomer in the non-hydrous material layer (1).
