To provide a method for manufacturing polymerized toner for preventing a scale-like sticking object from being generated on a surface in a portion of a vessel exposed to a gas phase section in a member for composing a polymerization apparatus and a distillation apparatus.
In the method for manufacturing the polymerized toner having colored polymer particles obtained by a process for removing unreacted polymerizable monomer from a system by a subsequent distillation operation after a polymerizable monomer composition having a polymerizable monomer, a coloring agent, a mold releasing agent and a cross-linking agent is polymerized within an aqueous disperse medium, water spraying means 7, 8 are provided so as to fall water on the surface in a portion of the vessel exposed to the gas phase section in the member for composing the polymerization apparatus and the distillation apparatus during the polymerization operation and distillation operation, and the polymerization operation and distillation operation are implemented while a wet state of an inner wall of the gas phase section and the surface of the member is maintained.
