Abstract:
To provide a method for efficiently manufacturing a polyoxyalkylene glycol commercially by the ring-opening polymerization of a cyclic ether.
A polyoxyalkylene glycol is manufactured by a ring-opening polymerization of a cyclic ether, wherein the ring-opening polymerization is performed in the presence of a catalyst comprising a carbon carrier with a specific surface area of 50-1,000 m2/g and heteropolyacid supported thereon.
