Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing a homogenous polyurethane foam roller suppressed from the involution of air, reduced in the irregularity of density or a cell size and having excellent quality.
A polyurethane foam forming material is foamed and cured in a cylindrical mold to manufacture a roller having a shaft and the polyurethane foam layer provided on the outer periphery of the shaft. The volume of the foaming zone in the cylindrical mold is continuously increased in conformity to the foaming expansion speed of the material and the foaming zone is filled with foam.
