To provide a method for manufacturing a porous pottery capable of perforating pores and small holes in the pottery with reduced porcelain clay burr and deformation.

The method for manufacturing the porous pottery comprises the steps of engaging a contact surface material 2 having a core made of a foamed resin with an inside of the porcelain clay 1 of a state in which the clay 1 is not molded and not solidified, intruding a porcelain clay part 1a cut out by a plurality of perforating protrusions 3 to a recess 2a of the material 2 by inserting the protrusions 3 from an outside of the clay into the lay 1 and the material 2 by moving the protrusions 3 by a reciprocating motor driven cylinder 6, drawing the protrusions 3, and beautifully forming a plurality of holes 7a at the clay 1 without clay burr.
