Abstract:
To provide a method of manufacturing a power storage module that can prevent a reduction in the bond strength between a liquid pouring port and a pressure adjustment valve.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a power storage module includes: a preparation step S1 of preparing a module body comprising an electrode stack and a sealing member for sealing an interior space formed between adjacent electrodes; a liquid pouring step S2 of pouring an electrolyte into the interior space from a liquid pouring port provided on the sealing member; a removal step S3 of removing the electrolyte at the liquid pouring port after the liquid pouring step S2; and a bonding step S4 of bonding a pressure adjustment valve to the liquid pouring port. In the preparation step S1, the liquid pouring port having a recess recessed on an outer side surface of the sealing member in which a through hole penetrating the sealing member and communicating into the interior space is opened on a bottom surface of the recess is formed on the sealing member. In the removal step S3, a liquid absorbing sheet is pushed into the recess of the liquid pouring port so that the liquid absorbing sheet is in contact with the bottom surface of the recess of the liquid pouring port using a removal member having an insertion part insertable into the recess of the liquid pouring port.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
