Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a method for manufacturing a pre-heat-transfer sheet, which makes it possible to continuously manufacture a pre-heat-transfer sheet superior in handleability with a heat-conducting filler satisfactorily oriented in a horizontal in-plane direction without using a support film; and a method for manufacturing a heat-transfer sheet, which makes it possible to continuously manufacture a heat-transfer sheet superior in handleability and heat conductivity.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a pre-heat-transfer sheet comprises the steps of: preparing a composition including a thermoplastic resin which is solid at a normal temperature, and a particulate carbon material; and obtaining the pre-heat-transfer sheet by rolling the composition while passing, in a gravity direction, the composition through between rolling rolls of at least one rolling roll pair, of which the rotation shafts are disposed so as to be substantially horizontal to and parallel with each other. A method for manufacturing a heat-transfer sheet comprises the steps of: forming a laminate by stacking a plurality of pre-heat-transfer sheets manufactured by the pre-heat-transfer sheet manufacturing method in a thickness direction on each other, or folding or winding such a pre-heat-transfer sheet; and obtaining the heat-transfer sheet by slicing the laminate at 45° or a smaller angle with respect to a laminating direction.SELECTED DRAWING: None
