To provide a method and an apparatus for manufacturing a prepreg excellent in an impregnating property without using an organic solvent; and a method of manufacturing a laminate using the prepreg.

The method of manufacturing a prepreg comprises dispersing a thermosetting resin composition containing a solid particulate thermosetting resin as an essential ingredient in water to prepare thermosetting resin slurry, spraying the slurry to a sheet-form fiber base material with a spray nozzle. Preferably, the thermosetting resin slurry is sprayed to the sheet-form fiber base material with the spray nozzle, while at least a part of the thermosetting resin composition particles in the thermosetting resin slurry is pressed into monofilaments of the sheet fiber material.
