Abstract:

To provide a method of manufacturing a proton conductive film formed of an organic system polymer with an excellent thermal stability.

The manufacturing method of the proton conductive film comprises a process of making a film from an organic polymer by a solution flow casting method, a process of swelling in equilibrium the film obtained by the film making by dipping it in a water solution of an organic compound soluble to water and with a boiling point of not less than 100°C, and a process of drying by having water evaporated by a thermal treatment. With this, a proton conductive film with an excellent conductivity and thermal stability and a stable workability can be manufactured in a simple method. The proton conductive film thus obtained can be appropriately utilized as an conductive film such as an electrolyte for a primary battery, an electrolyte for a secondary battery, a solid polymer electrolyte for a fuel battery, various kinds of sensors, a signal-transmitting medium, a solid capacitor, and an ion exchange membrane.
