To provide a method of manufacturing a radio device capable of easily and properly manufacturing a radio device as designed, and increasing the degree of freedom of antenna design.
By machining a single metal sheet 10, a connected body 5 with a sheet-metal antenna 2 and a shield case 3 connected to each other through connection parts 4 is formed as shown in Fig.1(a). In the form of the connected body 5, both the part of the sheet-metal antenna 2 and the part of the shield case 3 are mounted on a board 1 as shown in Fig.1(b), thereafter the connection parts 4 are cut as shown in Fig.1(c), thereby the sheet-metal antenna 2 is separated from the shield case 3, and the shield case 3 and the sheet-metal antenna 2 are arranged and formed on the board 1 by being spaced apart from each other.
