To provide a method for manufacturing a resin belt and a roll for manufacturing the resin belt capable of forming it on the condition without projections, chips and the like by applying a simple improvement to a roll with which a resin and a core material are pressed.

The method comprises forming a resin belt having projections formed on the surface of the belt. In this case, a molten resin layer 3 is overlaid on the core material 2, and the core material 2 and the resin layer 3 are pressed between a roll 6 and 7, wherein at least one of roll 6 and 7 has recesses 8 for forming the projections 5, the concave parts 8 having through-holes 11 at the bottoms which penetrate the roll to the outward, and the projections 5 are formed by injecting the resin into the recesses 8 while the air is drawn from the through-holes at the same time when the core material 2 and the resin layer 3 are pressed.
