To provide a method for manufacturing rolling dies, which method can reduce a time for rolling toothed surfaces for rolling, and can reduce a manufacturing cost.

When rolling dies for rolling a dual thread having two different leads are manufactured, the dual thread is replaced with a discharge electrode 50, and the machining is carried out by reproducing the movement of thread rolling. For this purpose, the discharge electrode 50 having the dual thread having two different leads and a circular die blank 30 are turned, and also the discharge electrode 50 is arranged between the circular die blank 30 and a segment die blank 40, and the circular die blank 30 and the segment die blank 40 are machined at the same time by the electric discharge machining with the discharge electrode 50. Therefore, the shape of the dual thread having two different leads can be transferred to both of the circular die blank 30 and the segment die blank 40 at the same time. By this method, the machining time can be shortened, and the manufacturing cost of the rolling dies can be reduced.
