Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a rotor for an electric motor, capable of improving production efficiency and contributing to energy saving.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a rotor for an electric motor includes: a lamination step 2 of forming a laminated iron core 10 by laminating a plurality of iron core pieces 11; a magnet insertion step 3 of inserting a permanent magnet 16 into a magnet insertion hole 13 provided to the laminated iron core 10; a resin filling step 4 of heating the laminated iron core 10 and filling the magnet insertion hole 13 with a molten resin 14 for fixing the magnet; and a rotation shaft assembly step 5 of warm-fitting a rotation shaft 15 to a rotation shaft insertion hole 12 of the laminated iron core 10 by utilizing remaining heat by the heating of the laminated iron core 10 at the resin filling step 4.
