Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machining method in which a cylinder grinding process and a contour grinding process are performed by using the same grinding machine.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a rotor includes at least following steps: a step of clamping a work-piece (25) in a grinding machine (27); a step of executing at least one cylinder grinding process, and allowing a rotor shaft section to be ground by a cylinder grinder (18) to have a desirable diameter; a step of executing at least one contour grinding process, and allowing a contour grinder (23) to contour a rotor main body. During manufacturing of the rotor in the grinding machine (27), the cylinder grinding process and the contour grinding process are performed by using the same grinding machine (27) without removing the clamping of the work-piece (25).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
