Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing scorodite from flue cinder in nonferrous smelting.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing scorodite includes: a primary leaching step in which arsenic, Fe, and Cu-containing flue cinder in nonferrous smelting is slurried, and an oxidizer is added to the slurry of flue cinder in nonferrous smelting while a pH adjusting agent is added to the slurry for controlling the pH in the range of 1.5 or more and 3.0 or less, so as to obtain a primary leachate and a primary leach residue by oxidizing leaching; a secondary leaching step in which the primary leach residue is slurried and acid leached to obtain a secondary leachate and a secondary leach residue; and a crystallization step in which the primary leach residue is added to the secondary leachate to produce a neutralized slurry, and a liquid property adjusting agent is added to the neutralized slurry for the reduction of trivalent Fe to divalent Fe while suppressing the reduction of dissolved pentavalent arsenic to the trivalent arsenic, so that dissolved impurity elements are decreased in the produced slurry with completion of original liquid preparation, from which an original liquid for crystallization and a neutralized slime are obtained by filtration and scorodite is obtained from the original liquid for crystallization.
