Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a seal ring, which improves productivity of the seal ring and which enables the seal ring to be stably manufactured with high quality.SOLUTION: A closed annular ring-shaped intermediate molded article 10, in which both ends 1 and 2 of a cut line 5 of a seal body part 3 having the cut line 5 in one spot on a circumference are connected together by a bridge part 6, is integrally formed by injection molding of a resin composition and taken out of a mold. Subsequently, after the molded article is cooled for a certain period of time, the seal body part 3 is separated from the bridge part 6 and a runner trace 19a by machining so that a seal ring with the cut line 5 can be formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
