To provide a method for manufacturing a seamless chromium steel tube by which the seamless high chromium steel tube is manufactured without making roll marks occur frequently even in a method for manufacturing a seamless steel tube using a skew rolling system.

By heating the base stock for steel tubes having composition containing ≥ 9 mass% Cr to not lower than the temperature where δ-ferrite quantity is more than 5% in an area ratio (the transformation temperature Ac4 + 10°C ) to lower than the liquid phase generating temperature, piercing and elongating it by the skew rolling system rolling, the base stock is made into the seamless steel tube having a prescribed size. In this way, the generation of the roll marks is remarkably suppressed and the seamless tube is manufactured stably and at high efficiency.
