To provide a manufacturing method of seamless steel tubes and a jig for manufacturing seamless steel tubes by which products having good inside surface are made by removing the scale which is present on the inside surface of a tube stock during rolling by jetting water whose pressure is lower than that in a conventional method when the tube stock is elongated and rolled with an elongator and reeler.
In the manufacturing method of the seamless steel tube by which a plug is inserted into the pierced tube stock and the tube stock is elongated and expanded by rolling, during rolling to elongate and expand the tube stock, the rolling is performed while jetting water for removing the scale on the inside surface of the tube stock in a position in front of the plug inserted into the tube stock in the direction of the rear end from the tip of the plug and in an oblique direction.
