Abstract:
To manufacture a large-diameter/thin-walled size seamless steel tube excellent in the accuracy of thickness.
In a rolling line which is provided with a piercer 2, an inclined rolling mill 3 and a plug mill 4, by changing the conveying direction of a hollow tube stock after piercing, the tube stock is made to bite into the inclined rolling mill 3 from the rear end, elongated and rolling is performed with the plug mill.
