Abstract:

To provide a method for easily and safely manufacturing a septic tank made of fiber-reinforced resin having excellent adhesion strength.

The method for manufacturing a septic tank includes steps of:molding a plurality of components made of a fiber reinforced resin using the SMC (sheet molding compound) method; applying an isocyanate-based primer to an adhesion surface of the components to be dried; applying a urethane resin-based adhesive onto the dried primer; and adhering and fixing the components via the adhesion surfaces to which the adhesive is applied. The isocyanate-based primer is applied after the adhesion surfaces of the components are subjected to corona treatment, ITRO treatment, or flame treatment. The adhesion surfaces of an upper tank 4 and a lower tank 5 constituting the body 1 of the septic tank, are subjected to corona treatment, ITRO treatment, or flame treatment in advance, and then the primer and the adhesive are applied thereto.
