Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a small diameter shaft like member suitable for manufacturing a small diameter member.
SOLUTION: In manufacturing a shaft like member 2 having a small diameter, at the beginning, a rough shape is formed by a rotary swaging machine 1, at this time, working of a square column part 3 is completed. Next, the rough shape is formed to a final product by a form rolling machine. The rotary swaging machine takes out the product without using a pushing out pin as in a conventional machine, further, a forging effect for the product is provided, thus, the small diameter shaft like member having sufficient strength is manufactured.
