Abstract:

To provide an apparatus for manufacturing a fiber-reinforced resin molding material capable of supplying a separated fiber bundle in a stable state to a cutter while avoiding meandering of a fiber bundle, and effect of inclining and meandering of filaments generated in a fiber bundle when manufacturing a fiber-reinforced resin molding material.SOLUTION: An apparatus for manufacturing a fiber-reinforced resin molding compound for manufacturing a sheet-like fiber-reinforced resin molding compound impregnated with a resin between filaments of a cut fiber bundle includes: a separating part for separating a continuous fiber bundle CF into a plurality of fiber bundles CF; and a cutting part 13 for cutting the separated fiber bundles, where the separating part makes respective rooms of a plurality of the separated fiber bundles CF into a partly unseparated state by intermittently thrusting a cutter 18a to the continuous fiber bundle CF.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
