Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a shell for a hard bag, which can prevent a portion of patterns from being elongated even if using a patterned material sheet.SOLUTION: A method is provided for manufacturing a body shell or a cover shell constituting a hard bag. The method is characterized by: cutting out four corners of a material sheet 21 having a rectangular shape in a plane view, and making the material sheet 21 comprise a material sheet body 22 and protrusions 23 protruded to outer circumference sides, respectively, at four sides of the material sheet body 22; heating a boundary portion 24 between the material sheet body 22 and the protrusions 23 and the vicinity thereof so that the protrusions 23 can be freely folded by the boundary portion 24, and then folding the protrusions 23; and forming the material sheet 21 into a box shape and manufacturing the body shell or the cover shell. Accordingly, the shell can be manufactured by using a patterned material sheet, by preventing a portion of patterns from being elongated, even if using the patterned material sheet.
