Title:
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SHORT PATCH ANTENNA DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2012205245
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a method of manufacturing a short patch antenna device which can be made compact with resin (dielectric) by sealing using a metal mold even when having a simple structure.

The method of manufacturing the short patch antenna device includes: a metal mold closing process of carrying out mold closing between a first metal mold which has a first recessed part and has a first hollow part having a diameter larger than the diameter of a coaxial line at an edge thereof and a second metal mold which is put over the first metal mold to form an internally formed cavity and a coaxial line mounted tube linking the cavity to the outside, and has a second recessed part and also has a second hollow part having a diameter larger than the diameter of the coaxial line at an edge thereof; a mounting process of mounting a ground conductor surface of an antenna element on a bottom part of the first recessed part and a radiation conductor surface of the antenna element on a bottom part of the second recessed part, and mounting the coaxial line on the first hollow part and the coaxial line on the second hollow part before the metal mold closing process; and a resin injection process of injecting resin into the cavity, formed inside by putting the first metal mold and second metal mold one over the other, from the outside after the metal mold closing process.
