Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a slide bearing provided with a thin groove, and the slide bearing, capable of reducing a processing time and a processing cost for the thin groove, and improving productivity.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a slide bearing 1, includes a step of forming a thin groove 3 by cutting with a circular cutter 20. A maximum depth t of the thin groove 3 is a depth d at a bearing angle θ+α/2 corresponding to a longitudinal center 3d of the thin groove 3. In the step, the thin groove 3 is formed by cutting so that a center position P(x, y) of the circular cutter 20 is moved on a bearing radius connecting a position C of the longitudinal center 3d of the thin groove 3 and a bearing center O, and the center position P(x, y) of the circular cutter 20 is moved only by a length same as the maximum depth t.
