Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a steel sheet for an easy-open can lid having an excellent cut shape.SOLUTION: In the present invention, the steel sheet having a composition containing by mass%, 0.010% or more of C, 0.2% or less of Si, 0.10% or more and 0.60% or less of Mn, 0.003% or more and 0.150% or less of P, 0.020% or less of S, 0.01% or more and 0.06% or less of Al, 0.02% or less of N, and containing 0.001% or more and 0.100% or less of Sn in a middle portion of thickness, with the balance consisting of Fe and inevitable impurities, is annealed at an annealing temperature of 650°C or higher, subjected to continuous annealing in a temperature range of 400°C or more and 550°C or less for 5 seconds or more in a residence time, and subsequently cold rolled.SELECTED DRAWING: None
