Abstract:
To provide a method that manufactures high-quality stock oil for carbon black at low cost and large amount by a simple and easy method.
The method of manufacturing stock oil for carbon black is characterized as follows. 10-50 pts.mass of petroleum heavy oil or petroleum cracked residual oil is mixed with 100 pts.mass of a coal tar residual oil-containing liquid including coal tar residual oil whose viscosity at 70°C is at most 300 mPa s to make blend oil, and then the aggregate generated in the blend oil is removed by centrifugation to make the stock oil for carbon black in which the content ratio of quinoline insoluble is 0.5-2 mass%.
