The method of manufacturing the stretch sheet also has a control process for controlling the depth of the engagement of the engaged part and/or the rotation speed of the tooth groove rolls 2, 3 based on the difference of width W of the detected stretch sheet 10' and the setting width Wa of the stretch sheet 10'.
