Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily manufacture belt-like battery positive electrodes by using a roller block to produce two strips made of a powder mixture at time same time, and coating both sides of a current collector meshed by a rolling device with the strips to form the strip electrodes. CONSTITUTION: Strip powders from a powder supply device 1 are squeezed by a roller block 5 and formed into a strip 6, which is supplied to a winding rolling device 14. A meshed strip support is drawn into the device 14 from a roll via a guide roller 13, is coated with the material of a strip 6 from each side, and wound on a winder 16 as extra material is scraped off by a scraping device 15. The electrode strip wound on the winder 16 is taken out as a coil. Therefore, belt-like positive electrodes for primary and secondary batteries can be manufactured efficiently and easily.
