Abstract:
To provide manufacturing methods, capable of obtaining a thermoplastic resin and thermoplastic resin composition having small variations in physical properties.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a thermoplastic resin comprises (I) a polymerization step of supplying a resin raw material including a monomer (a) to a polymerization reaction vessel including a stirrer to perform a polymerization reaction and obtain a polymer (A) including a thermoplastic resin and (II) a collection step of extracting the thermoplastic resin from the polymer (A). The physical properties of the thermoplastic resin finally obtained are calculated using at least three operation data in continuous or intermittent operation data obtained in the (I) step and at least one operation datum in continuous or intermittent operation data obtained in the (II) step; and at least one process variable in process variables is controlled by providing the operation data in the (I) and (II) steps on the basis of the calculated physical properties.SELECTED DRAWING: None
