Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for suitably removing adhered powder from "an optionally and three-dimensionally arranged fluid passage" that is obtained by a powder sintering deposition method.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a three-dimensional molded object is provided, in which the following steps (i) and (ii) are repeated: (i) irradiating a predetermined portion of a powder layer with a light beam to sinter or to fuse and solidify the powder in the predetermined portion to form a solidified layer; and (ii) forming a new powder layer on the obtained solidified layer and then irradiating a predetermined portion of the new powder layer to form another solidified layer. In the steps (i) and (ii), a local region corresponding to a part of the inner region of a three-dimensional molded object is left as a powdery part; the powder in the powdery part is removed at last to form a fluid passage inside the molded object; and after the molded object is obtained, a fluid comprising an abrasive is made to flow as a swirling flow through the fluid passage to polish the fluid passage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
