Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique to inhibit a deposition failure due to a cavity produced in a base of a layer to be deposited in an additive manufacturing (AM) technique.SOLUTION: The additive manufacturing (AM) technique comprises a method for manufacturing a three-dimensional object, including: a step of forming a particle layer by depositing molding particles based on a slice data; a step U2 of forming a material layer from a single or a plurality of particle layers; and a step U3 of depositing the above material layer on a three-dimensional object being manufactured. The particle layer is formed in such a manner that the layer has a film thickness of less than twice a volume average particle diameter of the molding particles and has a projection area percentage of 90% or more per unit area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
