Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a timepiece component in which the timepiece component which has superior temperature characteristics and high durability can be manufactured with high precision, and the timepiece component.SOLUTION: Etching processing for forming a mask having a predetermined pattern based upon a shape of a timepiece component constituting a driving mechanism of a timepiece and then removing an active layer 313 of a laminate substrate 314 except the part of the mask is performed in an etching process. After the etching processing, an ion injecting process of injecting oxygen ions into an active layer 313 is performed, and a heating process is performed in which the active layer 313 into which the oxygen ions are injected is heated at a predetermined temperature, and silicon forming the active layer 313 is thermally oxidized to form silicon oxide.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3I
