PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method making it possible to efficiently manufacture a tip member of a heating tool having a high-density thin surface layer.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a tip member of a heating tool is a method for manufacturing the tip member of the heating tool including a substrate 10 having a tip surface 10A that comes into contact with a melted joint material, and a surface layer for covering the tip surface 10A.
