To provide a method for manufacturing a transflective color liquid crystal display panel, with which a reflective region and a transmissive region are formed with nearly equal heights with a simple method.

In the method for manufacturing the transflective color liquid crystal display panel, first, a bank part 8 to surround a region in which a color filter layer 3 is formed is constructed. Next, a liquid color filter material 31 is applied to the region surrounded by the bank part 8 with a height not exceeding that of the bank part 8. Further, the liquid color filter material 31 is cured to form the color filter layer 3.
