To provide a method for manufacturing a transmission belt which hardly causes such pitch disarrangement wherein core wires wound around a core mold are misaligned in the longitudinal direction of the core mold, even when a cavity is filled up with rubber raw materials by pressing into a cavity to be filled up.
In the method for manufacturing the transmission belt by filling up the capity in a mold with the rubber raw materials through injection molding or transfer molding, a fibrous material 20, to which unvulcanized rubber layer 19 is attached, is allowed to cover the core mold 14 so that the attached rubber layer 19 comes outside, the core wires 21 are wound around the core layer 19 so that the core wires 21 dig into the rubber layer 19, heat plasticized rubber raw materials are press fitted into the cavity 13 formed between the core mold 14 and outer molds 2a, 2b in the same direction as the array of the core wires 21 wound around the core mold 14 to fill up the cavity, and then the rubber raw materials are vulcanized.
