Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing a tread rubber that has high electroconductivity even in a thin tread rubber and can obtain a good appearance after vulcanization molding, and a pneumatic tire.SOLUTION: A tread rubber comprises a belt-like non-electroconductive cap rubber 12. Slits 14 each having a depth that does not penetrate the cap rubber 12 are formed in widthwise end regions 12a and 12b of the cap rubber 12 in the longitudinal direction of the cap rubber 12. An electroconductive liquid rubber glue is supplied so as to cover the widthwise end regions 12a and 12b formed with the slits 14 and at least a part of a side surface of the tread rubber 10, and the electroconductive liquid rubber glue is allowed to enter the slits 14. Thus, the tread rubber 10 is manufactured.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
