Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing tubular component parts including an insert made of composite materials such as a rotor shaft for a turbo-machine.
The method is for manufacturing the tubular component parts having the insert therein which is made of the composite materials comprising metal base materials and extended ceramic fibers. The method includes a draping process, in which a sheet 21 with covered filaments joined together is draped around a metal mandrel 24, wherein each filament includes ceramic fibers covered by metal sheath and is joined on the sheet by spot welding.
