Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a turbine material in which the former austenite grain size has been refined by a heat treatment.SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing a turbine material, a forging material having C:0.4% or less, Mn:0.2-0.6%, Si:0.5% or less, Ni:3.0-4.0%, Cr:1.0-2.0%, Mo:0.2-0.6%, and V:0.05-0.15% in weight, and the balance being Fe and inevitable impurities is prepared. The forging material for a turbine is subjected to, heating at a temperature of 825-950°C and subsequent cooling, for twice or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
